Attend the FREE hands-on training seminar “Delivering Command Information to the Tactical Edge,” on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 21-22, 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. We will bring together military program managers, application developers, and technology and information-sharing experts to discuss how to better deliver command information at the tactical edge.

Getting the right information to the right warfighter at the right time is absolutely ciritical to mission success. The challenge facing the Department of Defense is great – with more than 15,000 networks and 4,000 installations worldwide, net-centric information sharing means more than making that information available – it means making it accessible and readable on the battlefield. Recently, the DOD has sought to take advantage of smartphones and other forward-deployed computing platforms to put applications into the hands of soldiers, sailors, and airmen at the tactical edge.

*Developers. Get hands on training with Adobe's tools, frameworks, and deployment environments for designing, developing, and deploying Web-, desktop- and mobile-based applications. There will be sessions on using Adobe Flex and Actionscript, the building blocks of the Adobe Flash Platform.  *Please bring your own laptop*
