Gary Schluckbier has been with Motorola for more than 15 years and is currently Director of Motorola Solutions’s Secure Products Group. Gary started his career with Motorola developing GSM cellular infrastructure and soon transitioned to communications security engineering. In this role Gary was lead software engineer on Motorola’s first fully programmable crypto engine and in the implementation of high-assurance boot across Motorola’s products. The Secure Products Group has obtained more than 60 FIPS 140 certificates, has successfully certified all COMSEC components of a Motorola communications system by the UK Government for Enhanced Grade, and has certified a Type 1 digital radio. Gary and his team are now developing the Assured Mobile Environment to provide high assurance solutions for enterprise and commercial devices.
