USAF, Director, 24th Air Force (AFCYBER) Air Component Coordination Element (ACCE)

Colonel Robert A. Morris is the Director, 24 AF(AFCYBER), Air Component Coordination Element. As the Director he is the 24 AF Commander’s primary liaison and personal representative to both United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and the National Security Agency (NSA) at Fort George G. Meade, MD. The ACCE Director is responsible for operational Air Force Cyber issues with OSD, DNI, CIA and other NCR cyberspace partners.

Colonel Morris is a 1984 graduate of Clemson University. He has extensive experience in B-52s as an instructor and squadron operations officer and is a Graduate, and former operations officer for, the USAF Weapons School. He has commanded at the Group and Squadron level, and served on both OSD and Air Staffs. His joint experience includes a tour as the Deputy Director of Information Operations and Warfighter Support for the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and as the Global Capabilities Manager for the Office of Information Operations, National Security Agency. Additionally, he was a member of the Combined Air Operations Center Staff for Operations Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Colonel Morris is a Master Navigator with over 3,000 hours in the B-52G and H and various other aircraft. Prior to his current assignment he was Commander of the 67th Network Warfare Group, Lackland AFB, Texas.

Colonel Morris is married to the former Kelly W. Jones of Greenville, South Carolina. They have a son Robert and daughter Lydia.
