Stephen Henderson is a Master IT Systems Architect with HP US Public Sector Consulting Services. He started with Digital Equipment in 1977 after serving 8 years in the US Navy first on Ballistic Missile submarines and later as an instructor and curriculum developer. Starting as a course developer at Digital, he advanced through several positions in engineering, customer support, product management and technical marketing before moving to the field in Sales Support.

In 1995 he left Digital for an Infinet, a Norfolk Va. based ISP jointly owned by Landmark Communication and Knight-Ridder, as VP of Systems Engineering . When Gannet bought into Infinet and transitioned it from an R&D centered boutique provider to a production shop, Steve left for Dataline Inc. as Director of Strategic Technologies.

In early 1998 Steve rejoined Digital as a Senior Solutions Architect and since then has led several strategic engagements including; Portsmouth Naval Hospital, AD architecture development for US Army, and Re-engineering of the US STRATCOM Microsoft environment. In 2005-2006 Steve led the HP technical team in winning 4 of 7 DISA capacity services contracts and has been the lead Architect or SME contributor of several cloud initiatives starting with DISA’s intial RACE environment.
