Gary Hall is responsible for technology solutions planning and architectures for Cisco’s Intelligence Community business. His duties span the full range of IT services including networking, data centers, cloud computing, virtualization, unified communications, information assurance, secure wireless, and mobility. He lead's Cisco's Federal strategy and planning for the Internet of Everything and co-leads the Cisco Public Sector Cross-Architecture Team.

Prior to joining Cisco, Gary held several leadership positions at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) including Metadata Officer and Program Manager for Audiovisual and Videoconferencing. He was the Chair of the Intelligence Community Communications Committee Audiovisual Working Group and the Geospatial Intelligence Standards Working Group Metadata Focus Group. He also chaired the Joint Integration and Information Sharing Working Group and was responsible for the creation of the Intelligence Community Common Operating Environment (COE) Plan of Action and Milestones.

Gary previously managed Booz Allen Hamilton's One Dulles Systems Resource Center, part of the firm's center for innovation and emerging technology. He was responsible for technology services including systems design and integration, event productions, technology injection programs, and media services. Prior to Booz Allen, Gary was the Conference Services Manager for the Immigration and Naturalization Service and has worked for the Army Corp of Engineers and Time Warner.

Gary is currently on the Board of Directors for InfoComm International, the trade association for the audiovisual industry. He served two terms as the Chair of InfoComm's Professional Education and Training Committee (PETC). He is an InfoComm Faculty Instructor, and a Certified Technology Specialist in Design and Installation (CTS-D, CTS-I). He was a founding member of the Sustainability Task Force and the Performance Standards Steering Committee. He is also regular presenter at government and industry conference and symposiums.

Gary graduated from James Madison University with Bachelor degrees in Communications and English. He earned a Master of Science in Technology Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. He was selected to the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Upsilon Pi Epsilon by earning a 4.0 GPA across both his MS and MBA degrees.
