Chip McClelland

Business Development Executive, Cloud Computing, US Federal, IBM

Chip McClelland is a business development executive for cloud computing in IBM’s Federal business. In this role, Chip works with many different initiatives across the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, State, and Justice. These initiatives span IBM’s cloud portfolio and deployment models but all share a common goal to make government more agile, efficient and effective. He has held many roles in IBM including strategy, product management, offerings development and supporting Independent Software Developers. Prior to working at IBM, Chip was a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble and, prior to that, an infantry officer and a weapons systems engineer in the United States Marine Corps. Chip graduated from the US Naval Academy and has a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
