Scott Megill

President and Chief Executive Officer, Coriell Life Sciences

Scott Megill is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Coriell Life Sciences. As a founder and chief executive of the firm, Mr. Megill has led the successful establishment, fundraising and product development to launch this exciting new business. Mr. Megill joined the parent Coriell Institute for Medical Research as its Chief Information Officer in 2009 from the Rohm and Haas/Dow Chemical Corporation where he was responsible for leading the enterprise business strategy and architecture organization. As a key member of the executive team, Mr. Megill spearheaded the implementation of many enterprise scale, multi-year business technology initiatives including the global Digital Rights and Identity Management program. Mr. Megill led the cross-company swat team responsible for integrating all aspects of the technology infrastructure leading up to the $15B acquisition of Rohm and Haas. At Rohm and Haas, Mr. Megill also served in roles managing the Application Development, Middleware Integration, CRM and Innovation/Skunkworks teams. Prior to Dow Chemical, Mr. Megill served in a highly entrepreneurial role as the Branch Manager for a new Greater Philadelphia Area office of an IT consulting company that was later acquired by Price Waterhouse. Prior to that, Mr. Megill spent five years as the Director of Applications Development at Towers Perrin. Mr. Megill earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Drew University and his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University.
